Our Story
The TECH Group was incorporated in 1996 primarily as a training company using online learning solutions. This husband-and-wife team share over 80 years of experience in higher education, corporate training, and international consulting services. Both were professors at Texas A&M University who specialize in leadership for strategic implementation and change facilitation, educational technology as a tool to improve teaching and learning, international program development and evaluation, and experiential-based learning and assessment.
Dr. Larry M. Dooley is a retired Professor in the Department of Educational Administration & Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University. His past roles include Chief of Party of the USAID Women’s Scholarship Endowment Afghanistan for Texas A&M AgriLife Research; he was Director of the Training & Development Certification Program at Texas A&M University for over 20-years; a Visiting Professor in the Centre for Human Resource Management Research at Peking University in Beijing, China; and the School of Business and Law at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has published over 100 articles in scientific journals and has authored two books. He has Keynoted conferences in Beijing, China, Oxford, England, Seoul, South Korea, Newcastle, England, and Al-Kobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Kim E. Dooley is a retired Regents Professor Emerita from Texas A&M University with 40 years of extensive experience in leadership, training and development, international development, and research design. She has a proven track record for managing large-scale projects, developing comprehensive training programs, and delivering impactful workshops and presentations globally. Dr. Dooley is adept at designing strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth, enhancing human resource capabilities, conducting needs assessments, and impact evaluation for evidence-based decision-making. She is currently writing a book that is a series of short stories illustrating how our experiences provide context for life lessons on resilience, working in diverse teams, creating a support network, caring for others, overcoming fears, and being present in the moment. These lessons help leaders, coaches, and executives gain valuable insights into becoming a better leader.
